Shows 2017

David and I exhibit at many shows and events throughout the year. From Exeter to Edinburgh, from Dublin to Detling, you will find us at most Patchwork and Quilting Shows, Creative Craft Shows and Knitting and Stitching Shows throughout the UK,  Northern Ireland and Ireland.

You will see us 28 shows throughout the year… we are always please to see you. Pop in and say Hallo.

We  always demonstrate the iron-on  bias tape and hot fix crystals and are more than happy to explain any patchwork technique or query that you may have.

You will find the 2017 shows listed below;

 

Craft4crafters – 16th, 17th & 18th February. West Point, Exeter. The show features a mass of crafting delights, it includes textiles displays, demonstrations, lectures, workshops and traders.

Spring Quilt Festival Harrogate – 24th, 25th & 26th February. Great Yorkshire Showground. Harrogate. Feature quilt displays from well known quilters and textile artists. Excellent facilities including restaurant and free parking. Workshops available on a first come, first served basis.

The Spring Knitting & Stitching Show. – 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th March. Olympia, London. Featuring projects for the home, knitting for babies, sewing, up cycling, “making “is the essence of the show. its the place to buy a huge range of craft products at great prices.

Stitching, Sewing & Hobbycrafts Show – 16th, 17th, 18th & 19th March. NEC, Birmingham. This show brings you all the latest craft supplies and cutting edge ideas in the world of crafting, plus meeting crafting celebrities.

Spring Quilt Festival Exeter – 31st March, 1st & 2nd April. Westpoint, Exeter. Feature quilt displays from well known quilters and textile artists. Excellent facilities including restaurant and free parking. Workshops available on a first come, first served basis.

Craft4Crafters Show – 6th, 7th & 8th April. The Bath & West Show ground, Shepton Mallet, Somerset. Over 100 national and local businesses under one roof. Live demonstrations, designers, companions and display galleries.

Stitching, Sewing & Hobbycrafts Show – 20th, 21st & 22nd April. This show brings you all the latest craft supplies and cutting edge ideas in the world of crafting, plus meeting crafting celebrities.

The Knitting & Stitching Show Edinburgh – 27th, 28th, 29th & 30th April. As the name suggests it covers knitting and stitching, but it also has much more e.g. crochet, patchwork, felt making, card making, jewellery making etc.

Stitching, Sewing & Hobbycrafts Show – 11th, 12th & 13th May. International Centre, Harrogate. This show brings you all the latest craft supplies and cutting edge ideas in the world of crafting, plus meeting crafting celebrities. Also talks and workshops.

Quilts UK – 18th, 19th, 20th & 21st May. Three Counties Show Ground, Malvern.  An open competitive quilt show with entries from all over the world plus feature display quilts from well known quilters and textile artists. Excellent facilities including restaurant and free parking. Workshops available on a first come, first served basis.

Springfields Quilt Show – 2nd & 3rd June. Springfields Events Centre, Spalding. Lincolnshire PE12 6ET. Excellent facilities including restaurant and free parking. Workshops available on a first come, first served basis.

National Patchwork Championship and Quilt Exhibition – 23rd, 24th & 25th June. Sandown Park Racecourse, Esher, Surry, KT10 9AJ. open 10am to 4:30pm ( 4pm Sunday). An open competitive quilt show, with entries from all over the world. Lots of amazing traders. Workshops on a first come first served basis. free parking, restaurant and disabled access.

Stitching, Sewing & Hobbycrafts Show – 30th June, 1st & 2nd July. NEC Birmingham. This show brings you all the latest craft supplies and cutting edge ideas in the world of crafting, plus meeting crafting celebrities. Also talks and workshops. Also life sized knitted gardening quilts from the Midlands region of the Contemporary Quilt Group.

Festival of Quilts – 10th, 11th, 12th & 13th August. NEC Birmingham. 10am to 5:30pm daily, (5pm Sunday). This event has over 1000 quilts on display, 300 exhibitors and 250 workshops. it has a reputation as the largest and most inspiring quilting show in Europe.

Great Northern Quilt Show – 1st, 2nd & 3rd September. Great Yorkshire Show ground, Harrogate HG2 8NZ. 10am to 4:30 daily. An open competitive quilt show, Lots of traders. Demonstrators. Excellent facilities , restaurant and free parking.

Stitching, Sewing & Hobbycrafts Show – 7th, 8th & 9th September. EventCity, Manchester. M41 7TB. 10am to 4:30pm (5pm Sunday) Come and discover inspiration for patchwork, knitting, stitching, paper craft etc. Exhibitions, demonstrations and workshops.

Stitching, Sewing and Hobby crafts Show – 21st, 22nd, 23rd & 24th September. Westpoint Centre, Exeter. EX5 1DJ. This show has everything from patchwork to knitting, including dress making, jewellery , beading and paper craft. Over 180 stands.

The Knitting & Stitching Show – 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th & 15th October – Alexandra Palace, London. 10am to 5:30pm ( 7pm Tuesday and 5pm Sunday). Come and enjoy amazing textile art, meet the experts, also lots of traders specialising in patchwork, cross stitch, crochet and knitting etc.

Autumn Quilt Festival – 20th, 21st & 22nd October. Three counties Show Ground, Malvern, Worcestershire WR13 6NW. 10am to 4:30pm (4pm on Sunday). Feature quilt displays from well-known quilters and textile artists. work shops, demonstrators and traders. Free parking and restaurant.

Autumn Quilt Festival – 27th, 28th & 29th October. Imperial War Museum. Duxford, Cambridgeshire, CB22 4QR. 10am to 4:30pm ( 4pm on Sunday). Feature quilt displays from well-known quilters and textile artists. work shops, demonstrators and traders. Free parking and restaurant.

Stitching, Sewing and Hobby crafts Show at Christmas – 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th November. NEC Birmingham. plus free entry to Crafts for Christmas, art live and Cake International. This show has almost every craft supply that you could ever want.

The Knitting and Stitching Show – 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th November. Simmonscourt, RDS, Dublin. 10am to 5:50pm ( 5pm Sunday). Ideal for textile based creativity. lots of exhibitions, traders, demonstrators etc.

Stitching, Sewing and Hobby crafts at Christmas – 16th, 17th & 18th November. ExCell, London. 10am to 5:30pm ( 5pm Sunday). come for lots of ideas, inspiration and supplies that you will need. 

The Knitting and Stitching Show – 23rd, 24th, 25th & 26th November. Harrogate Internation Centre. 10am to 5:50pm ( 7pm Tuesday and 5pm on Sunday). There are lots of exhibitions, demonstrators and traders for you to see. from 3-D crochet to surface embroidery, patchwork and quilting to crochet.

2018 Shows

Spring Quilt Festival Ardingly- 27th, 28th & 29th January, 10am to 4:30pm (4pm Sunday) South Of England show ground, Ardingly, Sussex. RH17 6TL. Feature quilt displays from well known quilters and textile artists. Excellent facilities including restaurant and free parking.

Stitching, Sewing and Hobbycrafts Show – 2nd , 3rd & 4th February. EventCity, Manchester. All crafts are represented, plus free workshops, talks and on-stand demonstrations. Plus the Kings speech collection.
